Studio Auctions Presents “Hollywood Treasures Part I”

There is a new entry into the entertainment memorabilia auction space and that company is Studio Auctions. They are planning their upcoming auction of props, costumes, original film posters and more. Bidding can be done on the Studio Auctions website as they have an integrated bidding platform.

The inaugural auction is set to take place on Saturday October 7, 2023 featuring around 60 lots with more to be added soon. Featured lots include a Miniature Model House From The “Wizard Of Oz”. The model has never been to auction before. It was sold in 1970 to a private collector by the former head of MGM. The model has impeccable provenance. The prop was authenticated in 1973 by the person in charge of special effects for the 1939 film, Arnold Gillespie (also known as the “Wizard of MGM”).
