Our “something-for-everyone” offering features materials from Laurel & Hardy, a variety of posters & lobby cards, a Western suite, Ben-Hur items, studio production photos, 26 lots of selection of legendary Walton & O’Rourke marionettes, and more.

Highlights Include:

  • Roy Rogers Green Plaid Nudie’s Shirt and Comic Book (1951-1957).  Worn by Rogers in Season 2, Episode 8, “The Knock Out,” of The Roy Rogers ShowAccompanied by 52-page comic book by Dell, “Roy Rogers Comics” #80, published August 1954, featuring Roy wearing the shirt on the cover.  
  • Oliver Hardy “Ollie” and Stan Laurel “Stanley” Suits from Air Raid Wardens (1943). These suits date from Laurel and Hardy’s brief tenure at MGM, which produced only two films. Laurel and Hardy costumes from any period are extremely rare at auction. 
  • Charlton Heston “Ben-Hur” Caftan from Ben-Hur (1959)Including 1-black and white single weight glossy 8×10 in. photograph of Heston riding a vespa with Stephen Boyd, both in costume.
