RESULTS! The Walking Dead Universe Auction – Heritage Auctions

DALLAS, Texas (Nov. 5 2025) — The dead walked — and collectors followed — as Heritage Auctions and AMC Networks’ Oct. 30-Nov. 1 The Walking Dead Universe Auction realized $1.96 million with buyer’s premium across 892 lots, drawing 1,840 bidders worldwide. Held Oct. 30–Nov. 1, the event marked a landmark celebration of one of television’s most influential, expansive and enduring franchises.

Leading the results was Rick Grimes’ (Andrew Lincoln) hero .357 Magnum revolver, which sold for $125,000, followed by Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) “Lucille” baseball bat, which brought $100,000. Also commanding top prices were Daryl Dixon’s (Norman Reedus) hero crossbow, which realized $35,000, and the custom Pontiac GTO signed by Andrew Lincoln from Season 1, which sold for $31,250. Vehicles proved especially popular, with Althea’s MRAP from Fear the Walking Dead matching that total at $31,250.

Other highlights included Negan’s signature ensemble and action “Lucille” bat ($30,000), another of Daryl Dixon’s early-series crossbows ($27,500), and Michonne’s (Danai Gurira) hero katana and sheath, which achieved $25,000. Daryl’s signature leather vest from The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon realized $25,000, while Rick’s non-firing .357 Magnum brought $20,625. Among the most recognizable items from the franchise’s history, the “Teddy Bear Girl” walker costume, from the pilot episode, sold for $19,375, underscoring the enduring power of The Walking Dead’s earliest imagery.

“This event proved that The Walking Dead is more than a television series. It’s a cultural phenomenon,” says Joe Maddalena, Executive Vice President at Heritage Auctions. “The response from fans and collectors was extraordinary. Every bid reflected a personal connection to the show and the characters that redefined modern television.”

Rob Fox, Executive Vice President of Production for AMC Networks and AMC Studios, adds: “Seeing the excitement and emotion these pieces inspired among fans has been incredible. Each prop and costume represents a piece of storytelling history, and Heritage has given these artifacts a second life with the people who love them most.”

From Rick’s revolver to Daryl’s crossbows, Michonne’s katana to Negan’s Lucille, The Walking Dead Universe Auction offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans to claim their piece of AMC’s legendary saga, proving that, even after 15 years, this universe remains very much alive.
