ScreenUsed November 2013 Auction Wrap Up

I was out of town and unable to participate or watch the auction so thanks to ScreenUsed for posting auction results on their website.

Here are the overall results of the auction:

• Of the 320 lots in the auction, 167 sold, making a sales rate of 52%
• The average price per lot was $1,416.35 (after buyers premium)
• Total sales were $200,450 hammer price, $236,531 after buyers premium

The highest selling items (with buyers premium) were:

• Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith – Mace Windu’s Fighting Lightsaber – $20,060.00

• Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones – Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Fighting Lightsaber – $17,700.00
• X-Men Origins: Wolverine – Wolverine’s Bone Claws (Hugh Jackman) – $11,800.00
• Sleepy Hollow – Headless Horseman’s Sword – $11,800.00
• Predators – Royce’s Ammo Vest (Adrien Brody) – $5,900.00

We are planning the next auction for March 15, 2014. As we get closer to the date, we’ll get the word out in a newsletter emailed to all subscribers. We are already accepting consignments for the March auction, and the cut-off date for submissions is January 1, 2014.
