Nate Sanders Monthly Auction Offering Shirley Temple Memorabilia
After a few months of not so desirable Hollywood memorabilia Nate Sanders returns with a decent August offering. The August auction now online at natesanders.com has only 33 lots of entertainment based memorabilia but does offer some unique items from the recently deceased and legendary Shirley Temple. There are 14 of the 33 lots in the auction that are from the childhood actress , though all of the lots do come at a hefty starting price. The highest of them all is Lot 1 Shirley Temple Lot of 57 Gorgeous Screen-Worn Costumes From Her Most Beloved Films Throughout the 1930’s – Including the Iconic Costumes From “Heidi”, “Curly Top”, “Dimples” & More. Granted it is 57 dresses but the opening bid is a half a million dollars! Nate Sanders is no stranger to over pricing lots but I will give them credit on a pleasant and smooth transaction I had with them. If you a fan then you may want to check this all out as the other 13 lots range in starting bids from $2500 to $60,000.
Other items are Amy Adams’ Outfit from ”Julie & Julia”, Vin Diesel Screen-Worn Cloak from ”Riddick”, Sean Connery Screen-Worn Jacket From 1970 Film ”The Molly Maguires”, Rowan Atkinson Outfit from ”Johnny English”, Iconic Black Suits from ”Men in Black 3” Screen-Worn by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones and a few more things.
The auction is now live at natesanders.com and runs through August 27th 2015.
