ScreenUsed Announces Upcoming Changes
In the latest newsletter email from ScreenUsed it has been announced that future auctions (timed or live) will now be held exclusively on their company website going forward. This announcement was made due to the success of their previous auction successes over the past few years since making the move from retailer of props and costumes to auctioneer. As per the newsletter this will make it easier to register plus allow for more auctions more often making them more “agile”.
In addition to this auction change ScreenUsed announced an upcoming “Cutting Room Floor Auction” . This will be the first auction using the new interface on their website under the auction tab. The Cutting Room Floor auction will be made up of 166 lots of “extremely rare frames of film that ended up being cut from many famous productions like the original Star Wars, Back to the Future, E.T., Poltergeist, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and others”. Also included in this auction are storyboards, drawings and other production material. Per the information provided this timed auction will run for 3 weeks further details on the exact date will be released soon.
