Robert Kurtzman Movie Prop and Art Auction

Robert Kurtzman one of the original founders of the legendary KNB Efx group is auctioning off some of his personal items from his decades long career in making movie magic. Tasked to handle all of this is Hanlin auction service who has in the past couple years waded into auctions featuring an array of movie memorabilia. The auction is taking place this Saturday June 2nd starting at 11 am est on the auction site icollector, see links.

After leaving Hollywood to bring his family back home to Crestline, Ohio (Note: I grew up in the town next to his) Robert started his new studio Creature Corps in 2003. Still a player in movie making Robert is best known for directing the original Wishmaster movie and created the original story that From Dusk to Dawn was based on.  Robert has served as a director, producer, screenwriter, and special make-up effects creator on dozens upon dozens of films. Some of his credits include Army of Darkness, Nightmare on Elm Street 5, Halloween 5, Misery, Lord of Illusions, Spawn, Spy Kids, Children of the Corn, Yoga Hosers, Tusk and about a hundred more films in various capacities.
