Beginning March 4th 2019, Prop Store, one of the world’s leading film and television memorabilia companies, and global content leader Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B) present an online auction featuring over 300 authentic lots used in connection with the production of The Divergent Series.
The exclusive online auction offers fans the opportunity to bid on original prop and costume pieces from all three films in The Divergent Series, which grossed more than $600 million at the worldwide box office.
Among the items available are many original costumes worn by the protagonist, Tris Prior, as well as Tobias “Four” Eaton’s Fringe Mission Costume, Jeanine Matthews’ Control Room Costume, and Bureau Wall Guard Helmets and Uniforms, which are expected to sell for between $2,000 – 6,000 USD. Additional highlights from the sale include Tris Prior’s Simulation Control Pellet, Erudite Faction Ceremonial Choosing Bowls, and Erudite Mutiny Rifles. All items in the sale are originals used in connection with the production of the film and include a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
Prop Store COO, Brandon Alinger noted that the auction is full of one-of-a-kind pieces: “What stands out about The Divergent Series auction is the custom-made nature of just about every lot on offer. Since the series takes place in a fictional world in the future, there are some fantastic wardrobe styles, and some of the coolest sci-fi weapon and mask designs we’ve encountered. Talented artists designed all the costumes and props before their three-dimensional representations were brought to life by the films’ stars. We’re thrilled to work with Lionsgate on making this content available to the fans of the franchise, who now have a chance to own a piece of The Divergent Series for the first time.”
The auction will be held exclusively online with worldwide shipping available. The auction is a no-reserve sale, meaning all final bidding prices are determined solely by bidding activity.
Bidding starts Monday 4th March 2019 at 09:00 AM and will remain open through Friday 15th March 2019.
