Propworx Presents: The Trekcetera Museum Auction!

Recently Propworx announced their next auction will be The “Trekcetera Museum Auction” an auction of Star Trek and other movie props & costumes. Started in 2013 by Michael Mangold and Devan Daniels both with a great passion for Star Trek and movie prop collecting in general. The Trekcetera Museum was located in Vulcan, Alberta, Canada and was moved to Drumheller in 2016. Sadly due to financial issues the museum closed its doors to the public early this year (2019).

The auction facilitated by Propworx will of course feature items from Star Trek TOS, Star Trek:TNG, Star Trek DS9, Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Enterprise. There will also be items from the movie Brokeback Mountain, Superman III, Titanic, The Magnificent Seven, The Last Samurai, Pirates of the Caribbean and television shows like AMC’s Hell on Wheels, The Drew Carey Show, Deadwood, Terra Nova and more.

An auction catalog pdf has been wonderfully prepared by Propworx that can viewed or downloaded here. This catalog isn’t your “basic” auction catalog; Propworx gives tribute to the museum and it’s founders Michael and Devan. The Trekcetera Museum Auction will take place on the auction website Liveauctioneers on Sunday August 18th 2019.

In all there are over 150 lots in this one day only online auction event. The buyer‘s premium for this auction is 25% on top of the final bid price per lot. There will also be a $10 packaging/handling fee per lot that will be added to the shipping cost. Important note that the buyer will pay the $10 packaging/handling fee per lot whether the item is picked up or shipped.

To register, pre-bid or to view all the lots go to Liveauctioneers I have provided links in this article.
