HBO Ballers Props and Costume Auction

Screenbid and Heritage Auctions have teamed up to offer over 475 original costumes and props from the HBO series Ballers staring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The auction is now under way at Heritage Auctions, bidding is open until Thursday November 12th 2020.

HBO, Screenbid and Dallas-based Heritage Auctions have teamed up for the exclusive Ballers auction, which opens for bidding October 29 followed by a live online auction November 12 at HA.com. Proceeds from the event will go toward Know Your Rights Camp, the nonprofit founded by Colin Kaepernick, the mission of which is to “advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization and the creation of new systems that elevate the next generation of change leaders.”

During its acclaimed five-season run on HBO, Ballers was the network’s most-watched comedy since Sex and the City — though, truth be told, the series set in the bruising, unforgiving world of pro football rarely played every down for laughs. For fans keeping tabs on the fall and rise and fall and rise of its characters, among them Dwayne Johnson’s redemption-seeking Spencer Strasmore and John David Washington’s impetuous Ricky Jerret, creator Stephen Levinson’s Ballers was as much a Sunday can’t-miss as any NFL matchup. – Screenbid/Heritage Auctions
