Comic Book Men is set to premiere on the AMC channel on February 12, 2012, following another massive success for the network, The Walking Dead. Essentially, Comic Book Men is a reality show that takes viewers inside the vibrant and bustling world of Kevin Smith’s New Jersey comic shop, Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash, which has become a beloved hub for comic book enthusiasts. The show is slated for six exciting episodes and captures the “antics” of the store’s diverse and dynamic staff as they navigate the unique challenges and entertaining situations that arise in their daily operations.

Comic Book Men prominently features memorable employees such as Walt, the manager and de-facto leader, who often finds himself juggling the needs of customers and staff alike; Mike, a comic book virtuoso with an encyclopedic knowledge of the medium; Ming, the store’s technical expert and go-to whipping boy, who often finds humor in his misadventures; and Bryan, who, despite not actually working at the Stash, can always be found perched on a stool behind the front counter, adding his own flair to the atmosphere.
