HSPPA Horror & SciFi Movie Prop Book “Volume 3” Kickstarter Begins!

Just in time for the holidays, our friend James Azrael over at the Horror & SciFi Prop Preservation Association just announced an upcoming third movie prop book. The HSPPA: Volume Three – “Fantastic Props and Where to Find Them” will be the title of latest volume and should be ready in early 2019 with your support. As with the previous two successful books volume 3 will also be using crowd funding to make this project a reality.

The previous two books by The HSPPA/James Azrael titled; The HSPPA: Volume One – The Props Awaken and The HSPPA: Volume Two – Planet of the Props are available on Amazon and at live events for purchase.

The HSPPA: Volume Three “Fantastic Props and Where to Find” will feature Horror and Science Fiction props, wardrobe, make up and production pieces spanning television and film.

From horror, sci-fi, superhero, and fantasy films…this 150-page +/- full-color 8.5″ x 11″ paperback will bring you closer to these priceless relics than ever before! Featuring hi-resolution photographs of the props, this book will also include the stories behind these props and the personal anecdotes of the people who collect, preserve, and restore each unique piece.

“Volume Three” will follow the same format and style (as the previous books), including items from the main collection of The HSPPA along with items from our Featured Exhibitors. Each piece will have high-resolution photographs, information, personal stories & anecdotes.

The Kickstarter crowd funding campaign for Volume 3 began on Friday December 21st 2018 and concludes on or about Wednesday January 23, 2019. See links in this article to visit the book campaign site.

There are many levels of participation available and donations of any size are welcome. Some supporters can even get an X-men prop display as a reward for supporting the project. Other rewards include your name listed in the book as a supporter, a collectors pin, signed book plate from some of the exhibitors featured and of course a copy of the book.

The Horror & SciFi Prop Preservation Association, LLC or HSPPA is a organization that aims to showcase at various venues their museum collection of iconic screen used TV and movie memorabilia.
