John Wick 3: Parabellum Auction!

Prop Store’s exclusive auction will be the first time ever that fans of the John Wick universe will be able to bid on and own original memorabilia from the universe.

Beginning this week original entertainment memorabilia retailer & auction house the Prop Store will be holding the auction of assets from the Keanu Reeves hit film John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum! This visually stunning action movie was released in theaters this summer making $321 million dollars during its run worldwide making the series of films a certified hit.

A fourth “John Wick” film is currently in development and could be released in the summer of 2021. John Wick Chapter 3-Parabellum was directed by Chad Stahelski; the cast includes Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Anjelica Huston and others. The film was released in May 2019 by Lionsgate/Summit Entertainment whom once again have partnered with the Prop Store to make this auction possible.

The Prop Store’s exclusive online auction will have original props, costumes, prop weaponry, and vehicles from the production including some select assets from John Wick: Chapter 2. The auction runs for two weeks from Friday September 3rd through Friday September 20th 2019. You can only bid online at the Prop Store website where you will register.

Pictured above is the John Wick (Keanu Reeves) “Distressed” – “Running Through Time Square Costume”. This screen worn costume can be seen in the opening of Chapter 3 where we see John running in the rain. A bit of effects blood is featured on the costume that adds to its overall aesthetic. The blood comes from John fighting off an assassin in the New York Public Library. The two piece suit is comes with a wardrobe tag marking it “Hero Size,” indicating it was made for use by the film’s lead actor.

There will be a quite a few lots featuring Continental Currency Coins (pictured below) in the auction. In the John Wick movie series Continental Currency Coins are a signal token to the underworld all around us that the barer is in the know, and a part of the same life. A coin can book you a stay at The Continental, buy your “evening wear” and equipment, gain you access to the hidden parts of the world.

Each coin in the auction is stamped with a lion emblem on one side and figure with a shield on the other, and feature the latin phrases “ENS CAUSA SUI” (You are your own causes) and “EX UNITAE VIRES” (“Out of unity comes strength) and “MMI”, inferring the coins were “minted” in 2001. The auction features metallic versions of the coins, as well as a limited number of stunt and scratched versions as well.
