Happening this week at VIP Fan Auctions is a one week 51 lot auction of props and costumes from the 2025 Amazon Prime movie Preparation For The Next Life now streaming. The auction is set to run Thursday April 30-Thursday May7, 2026, a full color pdf catalog is available now to review.

The movie is based upon the 2014 book written by Atticus Lish. The movie stars Sebiye Behtiyar and Fred Hechinger is about a Uyghur woman, trained by her military father, migrates to NYC where she finds herself laboring in Chinatown’s underground kitchens. She fatefully encounters a young American soldier who just returned from three tours in the Middle East.
